President: Lindsay Nelson, president.uowib@gmail.com
Lindsay Nelson is a senior majoring in Marketing with a Communications minor. This is her third year in Women in Business. She is a member of American Marketing Association and volunteers at Birth to Three. In the summer of 2009, she started her new position as an Account Executive for the Oregon Daily Emerald. This is ideal for her because she would love to be an account executive in an advertising agency, but is open to anything in marketing, advertising, and public relations. Her hobbies include being outdoors, swimming, traveling the world, and experiencing new cultures. Lindsay’s goal for WIB is to create more involvement opportunities within the club to build stronger relationships and maintain them with a fun, inviting environment to come back to. It is also important to her to increase members and attendance. She believes WIB should be an outgoing, fun support group for students.

Vice President:Tamsen Shilling , uowib.vp@gmail.com
Tamsen Shilling is a Marketing major with a minor in Economics. This is her second year in the Women in Business club. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association and works as a student technician at the law school. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, shopping and relaxing. During the summer of 2009 she studied abroad in Spain. Her goals for Women in Business include increasing the diversity of the members by marketing the club to students outside the Lundquist College of Business, along with continuing to engage the members through finding interesting and knowledgeable speakers and site visits.

VP of Marketing: Catlin Bowers, uowib.marketing@gmail.com
Catlin Bowers is a senior within the Lundquist School of Business. She will receive a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Communication Studies. Her goals for WIB include strengthening membership and managing the budget.

VP of Membership: Lauren Barrette, uowib.membership@gmail.com
Lauren Barrette is originally from Los Alamitos, a suburb of Orange County, CA. She came to the University of Oregon because she loved the gorgeous green campus and because she wanted to meet new people. She is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. Lauren is also part of the Clark Honors College on campus. As well as being the VP of Membership for WIB, she also works in the Peer Advising office and is the VP of Communications for AMA. Lauren enjoys traveling and all kinds of sports and outdoor activities. Lauren aspires to work in an international advertising agency where she can be creative and have fun working.

VP of Communications: Makaela Lipke, uowib.communication@gmail.com
Makaela Lipke is a sophomore at the University of Oregon and is originally from McMinnville, OR. She will be in the LCB Honors Program starting this Fall and is majoring in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, double majoring in Spanish, and minoring in Economics. She is the first VP of External Communications for WIB and hopes that next year the club can work to include students from other majors and genders. Some of Makaela’s likes are running, the performing arts (as a spectator not a participant), softball (she played for 10 years in McMinnville), movies, and being outside. She thinks WIB gives a great opportunity to women in the LCB to come together in a supporting and intelligent environment and is looking forward to next year!
